Just few hours ago I have read an article advising computer users to disable Java software on Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers because being targeted by attackers.
The article from Yahoo entails:
“This and previous Java vulnerabilities have been widely targeted by attackers, and new Java vulnerabilities are likely to be discovered,” the agency said. “To defend against this and future Java vulnerabilities, disable Java in Web browsers.”
- How to disable Java in Firefox?
1. On the Menu Bar click Tools then click Add-ons.
2. The page that looks like in the image below will appear. So click that Plugins button found in the left portion. It will lead you to display all your plugins. Then click Java Platform like I highlighted in the image. Actually it has a caution sign already. So Disable it.
