Printer is pretty much helpful in a household who does computer works and has students. It is funny to remember that my first printer became a hiding place of the mouse. Of course they bit the wires, the body and became their waste disposal area as well. As I remember it was HP brand and here comes our 3rd printer the HP Officejet Wireless All-In-One Inkjet. I am loving it because it does fax, scan, copy and print. Its cost prior to tax is $69 because it was on sale when we bought it at the Future Shop. The price is really in a good deal!
And we decided to avail the printer insurance. Once the item becomes defective within the coverage period of 4 years the store will replace it into their latest HP printer. It cost us for about $30 just to insure the printer. I know it is expensive. For me, we are just preparing for the worst scenario that might happen to it in the coming years. So how about you guys, did you also get insurance for your printer?

looks like a good buy, especially with the “fax” capability, something that my all-in-one printer does not have. and businesses here should also provide extended insurance like what you have… so far i only encountered that being offered in appliances

I think the insurance is good choice since printer technology moves so fast and at least you can have a new one if something happens.

Here in the Philippines, I haven’t heard insurance for a printer. They give 1 year warranty only.

My printer just came in. But I haven’t really tried tinkering with it. It’s also HP and is wireless. I’m sure I will be enjoying my future printing spree (minus the expense on the ink.heheh)

How much would this cost in the Philippines though, in your opinion? I’m in the market for a printer.

I’m also using a wireless all in one printer but with Lexmark which I got when I was still working with Lexmark. I guess they just have the same if not almost the same features and capabiities. I just love their wireless feature that’s really convenient.

My husband wants to have our study be furnished with everything available for use by our student kids. We also have an all-in-one HP printer and scanner. It’s indeed very useful. No need to have documents copied outside or in any computer shop.
