I just read online few minutes ago about Amazon being sued for revealing an actress age. If someone would tell your real age, will you also sue him? Think many times folks.

The actress who filed the case says she lives in Texas and is of Asian descent and has an American stage name. The lawsuit seeks $75,000 in compensatory damages and $1,000,000 punitive damages. Based on the figures revealed can you sense the reason behind for suing Amazon?

Why do many people most especially women are so concerned about their age? Why not just be happy and enjoy life…Money..money…

I still don’t get it. I think her problems with regards to getting rejected for this and that job doesn’t really have anything to do with her real age or the age she looks or whatever… it has something to do with the judgment call and prejudices of the directors, producers, etc…
I don’t think her real age being revealed will have an effect necessitating ‘$75,000 in compensatory damages and $1 million in punitive damages’. (You are missing 3 zeroes in your post, by the way…)

I guess of course, you’ll have to ask the directors and producers if it does make a difference but… there are lots of ‘older’ actors and actresses being given teen roles, and I’m sure lots of other roles are given out to people who are not necessarily ‘the same age’ as the character is supposed to be…
Maybe this actress should work on how she projects herself or presents herself to the producers, etc to better show her talents and capabilities. Obviously, she’s not catching their attention enough to be given the jobs she’s applying for…
